Had another wonderful experience as a Chef at Farm Feast 2025 for the @nccooperativeextension at @raisingrootsfarmhickory. Was a pleasure to be paired with such a great farm like @tumblingshoalsfarm and to use @catawbamushroompartners lions main and oyster mushrooms! Chef Trivette's Conceptions took 2nd place at Bottoms Up Festivals Grilled Cheese Festival, not where I wanted to place, but we will take it. Lots of love for our grilled cheese, compliments on our setup, and compliments on our process. Everyone commented, "we can't believe you don't have a line." well thats because we know how to serve in a high pace environment. There's no line because we came prepared to serve you a delicious grill3d cheese as quickly as possible. One competitor gloated that she had long lines the while time and was serving after the event ended, my gloat is that yall ate all 300 grilled cheese we made, we even went from cutting them in fourths to cutting into sixths. That's roughly 1400 servings all eaten, our competition had to take home leftovers.... Thanks for selling us out, guys! See you all at the next one!
Night 3 in the books. Amazing pool/Grill side service! @hutch_masta killed the beverage service and topped it off with a spur of the moment whiskey tasting. Happy clients are why we do what we do.
